MANILA, Philippines — Tea chain CHAGEE is introducing a citrus-forward addition to its Philippine menu with the launch of its Iced Lemon Fruit Tea series, a lineup of fruit-infused iced teas built on brewed premium tea.

CHAGEE Iced Lemon Fruit Tea Series

The release arrives as the country enters its hottest stretch of the year, when cold drinks become a near-daily ritual across cafés, restaurants, and milk tea shops. The rollout comes months after CHAGEE entered the Philippine market, opening its first Metro Manila stores in August 2025.

“We are thrilled to introduce our much-anticipated Iced Lemon Fruit Tea series—a new category that pairs authentic and high-quality tea bases with real fruit flavors, setting a new, higher standard for the ultimate summer refreshment,” said Christopher “Sonny” Tiong, general manager of CHAGEE Philippines. “Here in the Philippines, refreshment isn’t optional—it’s a must.”

According to the company, the lemon fruit tea series has appeared on CHAGEE menus in several international markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the United States. The brand says the drinks will remain on its Philippine menu beyond the hot months.

The introduction continues CHAGEE’s rollout of new drinks following its local debut. The company says it introduced Cocoa Oolong Milk Tea in December 2025 and Peach Oolong Milk Tea earlier this year as it expands its tea-based lineup for Filipino customers.

A familiar drink, reworked

Lemon iced tea has long been a staple refreshment in the Philippines and is commonly served in restaurants, fast-food chains, and neighborhood eateries during the hottest months of the year.

CHAGEE’s new lineup builds on that familiarity while emphasizing brewed tea and layered flavor profiles. The series includes three lemon-infused drinks:

  • Jasmine Lemon Tea: Combines jasmine green tea with citrus for a light floral finish.
  • Da Hong Pao Lemon Tea: Pairs roasted oolong notes with a sharper lemon bite.
  • Glutinous Lemon Tea: Blends green tea with a subtle glutinous rice aroma and a lift of citrus.

Also joining the lineup is Peach Oolong Brewed Tea, which highlights roasted oolong flavors balanced with a mild peach sweetness. Each drink, the company says, is prepared using its tea-first approach, which focuses on tea leaves and brewing techniques before fruit flavors are added.

Promotions and merchandise

Alongside the launch, CHAGEE is rolling out promotional bundles and limited-edition merchandise, including a lemon leather charm, a summer drawstring pouch, and a reversible bucket hat.

Other bundles include a drawstring pouch available with a ₱499 top-up for in-store purchases and ₱599 for Grab orders. A bucket hat is offered with a ₱699 top-up for in-store or app purchases and ₱799 for Grab customers.

The brand is also running drink promotions through its mobile app. From March 5 to 8, CHAGEE app users can receive ₱50 off any large lemon tea. Beginning March 9, customers can collect stamps through the app for every drink purchase to unlock additional discounts.

For Grab users, a separate promotion running from March 9 to 15 offers at least ₱133 off when ordering four large lemon fruit teas in a single purchase.

When life gives you lemons, the usual advice is to make lemonade. CHAGEE seems to think iced tea works just as well.
