MANILA — “The Devil Wears Prada 2” will have its world premiere streamed live on Disney+, offering viewers access to the film’s red carpet event ahead of its theatrical release.
The premiere is scheduled for April 21 (Philippine time) at Lincoln Center in New York City. The livestream will begin at 5:30 a.m., with a replay available afterward.
The broadcast will include appearances from members of the cast and creative team, including Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci. Also expected to attend are Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Caleb Hearon, and Helen J. Shen, along with director David Frankel and screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna.
“The Devil Wears Prada 2” returns to the world of Runway Magazine in New York City and is scheduled to open in theaters on April 29.
The sequel brings back Miranda Priestly, Andy Sachs, Emily Charlton, and Nigel Kipling, characters introduced in the 2006 release “The Devil Wears Prada,” a commercial success that remains widely referenced for its depiction of the fashion industry.
David Frankel directs the sequel from a screenplay by Aline Brosh McKenna. Wendy Finerman serves as producer, with Michael Bederman, Karen Rosenfelt, and McKenna as executive producers.
With the sequel set for release, “The Devil Wears Prada” is now streaming on Disney+.
